Starless Tide Arts was created and Co-Founded by two artists. Kyleigh and Kim were both born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Meeting in high school, they have been the closest of friends for almost a decade. They have both taken their fair share of art classes and their passion for creating knows no bounds.

Kyleigh, one Co-Founder of Starless Tide Arts, holds two undergraduate degrees from Virginia Wesleyan University, graduating summa cum laude, and brings that same discipline and focus into her studio practice. Working primarily in acrylics, her work explores oceanic themes through the ongoing Starless Tide collection, along with smaller, side collections that give space for different themes and experimentation.

Kim, another Co-Founder of Starless Tide Arts, is a mostly self-taught artist who specializes in drawing and digital painting. She has taken some art classes and had work displayed in the FSCJ STudent Exhibit of Art and Design. She loves doing portraits, specializing in figure drawing, and pulls inspiration from Eastern Media. Her work explores the intricacies of the human experience while cultivation a sense of wonder and curiosity.

Art is such an important part of so many people’s lives, particularly so in theirs.
